Tina's Pan-Fried Bacon Brussel Sprouts

We call this Tina’s Brussel’s because my lovely wife Tina introduced these to me when I thought I didn’t enjoy brussels. These absolutely changed my mind and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Ingredients

· Ingredients:

· 1 Bag of store fresh Brussel Sprouts

· 2 strips of thick cut wood smoked Bacon

· 2 small cloves of garlic

· 1 tsp Joseph-Que Craft Rubs "Dom's Magic Dust"

Instructions:

1) Start pan cold and lay bacon in pan (we like cast iron or a stainless-steel pan). Starting that pan cold will make sure the bacon doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Turn to medium heat and flip bacon every few minutes ensuring an even cook and getting that bacon nice and crispy.

2) Remove bacon and set aside. Now here is where you gotta evaluate the bacon grease in your pan. You want enough to coat the bottom of your pan but not so much that your Brussels will be drowning. Half your Brussels lengthwise and set flat cut side down in the greased pan.

3) Sprinkle with Joseph-Que. Cook a few mins and flip over to inspect color. After flipping you can soften these up a bit by placing a lid or cooking sheet over the pan for 3-5mins to steam. During the last 3 mins of cook add garlic and bacon back to cook. Stir till garlic and bacon are distributed evenly. Whole cook will take roughly 17-20mins at medium heat. Remove from heat and serve!
